End of the Year

2009 was a good year for some bad year for many. Hopefully 2010 will be better for more people.

Night is encroaching faster now, and it looks like I am staying later at work but I am not. The days are just getting shorter still.

November Chill

So pictures haven't been happening much, various life things have happened, and now it is November. Driving around I saw this and had to stop for a photo. There is just something about seeing the moon during the daytime that I like.

Sunset in Spring

Spending more time at work in the spring means that you get to see the sunset from work. Woo.

A Friend

Death is a part of life, and spring is the beginning of life of the year. We have lost Cupric, and while we miss him, we will always remember him and how wonderful he was.

Afternoon Clouds

After a pretty nice snow squall the sky cleared for a bit to show the afternoon sun.

Sunshine

So I am not the biggest fan of sunshine, but I do see the value, and so far in my trip to Germany I haven't seen sunshine. Now I have.

Red Sky at Morning

When you are trying to get to Portland, ME to get to a ferry at 0700, and you are 30 minutes late. This is what you see, the morning at 130+kmh!

Sunset over the Water

image uploaded on the road at 130kms an hour (by the passenger)

Yesterday we went down the Cape to visit some co-workers in Eastham, MA. This image is of sunset over the pond. You can see a co-worker in a canoe below the setting sun.

Parker Farm

We went out to Steve Parker's farm in Lunenburg, MA, to do some weeding. The fields seemed to go on forever. It is amazing that almost all the work is done by one man.

Allston Skyline

Allston skyline looking west from the 16th floor at the Hyatt hotel where Arisia 2007 was held. I was one of the few who was allowed into the art show with a camera and took pictures (of only specific pieces). Out of respect for the artists whom I do not have consent, I give you Allston from the 16th floor in Cambridge. Not that it gave me consent either, but thems the breaks.

Skyline over the Charles

Boston/Allston Skyline, from Memorial drive across the Charles. Not really one of my best shots I think, this was taken driving from Arisia 2007, going back to Arlington. The building in the background... I don't know the name of. They might be part of Boston University.
