On our porch are a number of pots left from our container gardening last year. With the snowfall from friday and subsequent thaws and refreezes they have been transformed into in interesting "mountainous" landscape.
In the picture below you can really see the icy re-frozen surface.

Snowy Parking Lot View
This week we had temperatures up the to the 60s*F, but today we were hit with another big snow storm. At some points the snow was coming down so thickly that it could be measured at nearly an inch and hour. The weatherman seems to think it will be the last of the season, but who knows. We have had surprise blizzards in April before...

We saw these turkeys on the side of the road in Waltham, MA. You can see the bigger male strutting and preening.

Fire and Ice grill
Since this week is February vacation, my girlfriend and I got the chance to go out on a weeknight. We went to Fire and Ice, which is famous for its self-serve ingredients and large round grill (shown here) with performance style cooking. It was particularly crowded since on Mondays students can get all-you-can-eat for just under $10.
