New Camera @ Night

So the day I get my new camera I of course need to go out and use it. Below are a couple of shots of Harvard Square late at night.

And getting back home I took some more photos of Arlington.

Shadows

Commuting to work on a bike gives you time to think, and lets your mind wander as you go. Biking along I noticed this very regular pattern of leaves, and my shadow which got me thinking about the shadow that we all cast on the earth...

Fading summer light

It is not really summer anymore, and the days have been getting shorter. This is the view from work looking west as the daylight fades.

Leechee Fruit

Biking in to work I took a diffrent route around the building, and came across a leechee tree with fruit.

Part of the road

So biking along the road via a diffrent route I have come across this sight a few times.



Looking more closely at the bottom left of the frame, shows a shoe. It has pretty much become part of the road. It reminds me of a commercial from a tire company that shows a person's foot becoming a tire. I guess this is the next step to that.

VW Type 3

So a lot of people might not remember this type of car but it is a VW Type 3. In after the Type 1 - The Original Beetle, and after the Type 2 - The VW Bus was the Type 3.

I have very fond memories of this car because it was one of the first cars I knew. My mom ended up having 2 of them; both of them ending their service because of rust through problems in the harsh New England environment.

Tree Frog in from the Aquarium

This is a nice little tree frog in the New England Aquarium.
