So I am going again to China... This time I am leaving on time. Of course this time I also forgot my laptop power adapter. Oh well. I suppose that its the idiot charge.

Drumlin Farm Conservatory
Drumlin Farm is a wildlife sanctuary run by the Audubon Society. It has a wide number of local animals, and an active farm with farm animals. Some pictures from there are below.
As a side note to Drumlin Farm/Mass Audubon- let me know if you would like more pictures.

Farmstand / Orchard
Growing up I remember stopping here and eating the 'sampler' apples. The owner of this Farmstand/Orchard Stand still picks the apples and works the washer and press in the back of this stand. It makes me feel good to support him but I worry about the future of farmstands like this and orchards in a high land price area.

Changes in the Fall
I love how some of the trees change color, but I really like how this tree changes its entire wardrobe. From decidious to evergreen! (I know this is not true but at this scale it appears that way!)

Backwoods of Cambridge, MA
After picking up the lens and filters I went and got the pictures of the boats on the Charles, I ended up waiting around for a bit in the back streets of Cambridge, MA. Here are some of the shots from the excursion.

Boats on the Charles River
After having had my camera for a day I realized I wanted a little more in the way of lenses and such, and I went to Calumet Photo in Cambridge, MA. After getting the new toy I had to try out my new lens and camera combination.
This is an MIT Building, but I don't recall the name. It is pretty irrelevant, but it shows some of what the new lens can do. First shot is @ 70mm and the next shot is ~ 210mm
And now what I really stopped to get photos of, the boat race on the Charles. I did not actually know that this was going on, but hey thats what spontenaety is about.
