Fall Foliage!

Long haiatus is long and so on and so forth. Anywho, pretty trees! These were at Rhinebeck, NY.

 

At Red Rocks!

Since we are in Colorado and near the Red Rocks, I had to go! Here is just one of many beautiful rock faces.

I kept meaning to take a picture of the lillys and eventually I did. They looked wonderful in the morning!

On the way out of work I was presented with this view from the car!

 

Peach blossoms in the yard!

At this point most of the trees have blossoms, and the peach is in bloom!

 

Snow!

Finally it snows and we are flying to somewhere without snow. Unfortunately it sounds like we will be back and the snow will be gone again. Ah well!

I went hiking in the Sheepfold president's day Monday, and saw this wonderful view off of the trail.

Snowshoeing in Gunsto

So two weekends ago I got my first pair of snowshoes. One week ago my car was in the shop and laid up. However a rental car with unlimited miles is not a thing to waste, so we went up to Gilford, NH (instead of Montreal as temporarily planned) and went snowshoeing for 2 hours or so. This was the view from close to the top of the ridge (which we did not get to).

Another food entry. Might not be quite so colourful in the picture but it was wonderful!

Ice in the marsh

Walking along in the blue hills reservation I came across this just barely icy water on the marsh. The mild winter has not set the ice as hard as usual, so any ice seen is a welcome sight.

Pad Thai

It has been a while since I have posted here, lots of life happening, not enough time to photograh enough of it or post. Dinner last night was particularily beautiful and deserved to be posted.
