So two weekends ago I got my first pair of snowshoes. One week ago my car was in the shop and laid up. However a rental car with unlimited miles is not a thing to waste, so we went up to Gilford, NH (instead of Montreal as temporarily planned) and went snowshoeing for 2 hours or so. This was the view from close to the top of the ridge (which we did not get to).
